Write for Us

Legal Lens invites insightful and well-researched article pitches that explore legal issues, case studies, and provide in-depth analysis relevant to the UK legal system. We are especially interested in content that intersects law, justice, and social impact, reflecting our mission to empower individuals navigating the legal system.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for articles that:

  • Share success stories or case studies that inspire and inform our UK-based readers.
  • Offer a unique perspective on current legal challenges within the UK.
  • Provide practical advice for Litigants in Person (LIPs) in the UK.
  • Highlight unethical practices within the UK legal system and advocate for fairness.
How to Submit a Pitch

To propose an article, please submit a brief proposal (just a few lines) that outlines your idea and explains its relevance to our UK audience. Your pitch should be clear, concise, and focused on a specific legal topic or issue. We encourage submissions that align with our core mission of transparency, empowerment, and support for LIPs in the UK.

Diversity and Inclusion

We are committed to amplifying diverse voices, particularly those from underrepresented groups within the UK legal field. If you identify with a community that is often overlooked in media, we strongly encourage you to share your perspective with us. Your contributions can help shed light on systemic issues and advocate for meaningful change within the UK legal system.

Response Time

You can expect a response within three weeks if your pitch is accepted. Given the high volume of submissions, we cannot respond to every proposal individually. If you do not hear from us within this period, you may assume that your pitch was not selected, though we encourage future submissions.

Our Editorial Process

Once your pitch is accepted, our editorial team will work closely with you to develop your article. This involves a thorough review, careful editing, and fact-checking to meet LegalLens’s standards. We strive to ensure that each published piece is both informative and aligned with our mission to support and empower our UK audience.

  • Case Studies: Insights from UK legal disputes, especially involving LIPs.
  • Legal Analysis: Overviews of key UK legal principles or legislation.
  • Guides: Steps for navigating UK legal processes.
  • Advocacy: Proposals to reform UK legal system issues.
